Mission Statement of the Blanchester Local Schools
The mission of the Blanchester Local Schools is to educate children, preparing them to learn from the past, imagine the future, and meet the challenges of the present. We believe that educational excellence flourishes in an atmosphere of cooperation, safety,and mutual respect, and results from dedicated partnerships between schools and the community.

To have all buildings achieve an excellent rating on their state report card.
1. Based upon the five year forecast, to maintain the financial viability of the district.
2. To recruit, hire, and retain highly qualified staff and engage staff in highly qualified professional development with an emphasis on student achievement.
3. To establish strong lines of communication between the schools, businesses and community.
4. To establish a caring mutually respectful school climate that will encourage the highest level of professionalism and teamwork throughout all facets of the school community.
